I have a laid back approach and love capturing candid moments. When it comes to specific photos, I’ll help guide and direct you, so you feel comfortable and look your best. Sometimes, the best images are not posed but the in-between natural moments. I will show you the photos during the session so we can make sure you’re happy and change things up if we need to. This is about you, and my main focus is on your comfort and enjoyment. The best advice I can offer is to simply be yourself, trust you look and feel beautiful, be honest with your feedback when I show you images, let your kids be kids, look at the laugh and smile and follow there lead. I encourage you to interact, play, and share intimate moments with your partner and family just as you would if I weren’t present. Please don't hesitate to tell me how you feel or what you want from the session.

My shoots are taken place at outdoor locations in Eastern Suburbs between La perouse and Randwick. If you prefer for me to travel to you to a location of your choice, please enquire through the contact page as I love to travel and would love to chat with you!

It can be daunting choosing a location for such a meaningful experience.
Fortunately, I have a collection of beautiful outdoor locations in Sydneys Eastern Suburbs between La Perouse and Randwick for you to make the process simple. Pregnancy and Family outdoor sessions take place at Sunrise and Sunset. Sunrise sessions begin at sunrise, and sunset sessions begin 1 hour before sunset. These times will change depending on the seasons as does the sunrise and sunset times throughout the year. Newborn in-home sessions start at 12pm as this is generally the best time for indoor natural lighting conditions. If this time doesn't suit your family please let me know to arrange a different time. Family sessions can also be taken at the comfort of your home.

My business days are between Tuesday and Friday. (I no longer shoot weekends).

Pregnancy & family outdoor sessions are 1 hour sessions. Newborn sessions are generally finished within 1.5hours. If bub needs extra time with feeding and settling, don’t stress, we allow extra time for this and sessions can take up to 2 hours.

Pregnancy sessions
I recommend shooting anywhere between 33-36 weeks when your bump is really beginning to show. Shooting between these weeks also gives us enough time to avoid missing out due to bad weather or having to reschedule and hopefully limits the chance of your bub making an early appearance! During these weeks, you will hopefully be far more comfortable than you would be in the latter stages of your Pregnancy.

Newborn sessions
I suggest booking within the first 21 days if you would like baby to have their womb-like behaviours. Although I believe there's no real difference in shooting newborns between days or weeks old as we still get beautiful results. I shoot newborns sessions up until 12 weeks old. After this age, I suggest booking an outdoor family session.

Once you secure your booking, I’ll send you my style guide which will have all the relevant information on what to wear for yourself, partner and kids (depending on what session you’ve booked). I also have a client wardrobe that is available to choose pieces from for the day which is included in the session price.

An unedited 'viewing gallery' will be available online within 2 weeks from the photoshoot date. The client will then have 7 business days from date of delivery to choose their selection of final images to receive edited in high resolution via digital download. Final delivery of edited images will be delivered within 4 weeks from their selection date.

Fill out the contact form and we’ll come back to you with the next available date. Secure your session by making a deposit and signing the contract. Full payment is due 14 days prior to your session. Once you've secured your session, get excited for the big shoot day! We’ll be in touch to confirm the location details, session times and wardrobe choices. Then shoot day arrives. This is where we finally get to meet and create some magic together. Time to relax and enjoy the beautiful session you’ve been looking forward to for so long. When the time comes for your viewing galleries, take a moment to sit down and enjoy your delivery of images. Here you will select your favourite photos to be edited and delivered in high resolution files, arguably the most exciting part of all. Here you have the opportunity with addons if you didn't include this at the start.

Yes. Your partners and children are all welcome in your pregnancy, newborn and family sessions. I have Extended family sessions for extended families including parents/grandparents, brothers/sisters, grandchildren etc

An additional travel fee applies to photoshoots located more than 10kms outside of Coogee. All parking/tolls’ expenses will be charged (if necessary).

Since weather forecasts can be unpredictable, Emma will confirm or reschedule outdoor sessions due to wet or dangerous weather one hour before the photoshoot, notifying you via email or text message.

In the event that the client needs to reschedule or postpone the shoot, 100% of the payment made will be held, and one other date can be secured within 12 months of their first original date booked.
